Description
A sharp "comb" mortar and grater, each with a hand-applied comb, are hand-combed by skilled craftsmen at Motoshige Pottery, which specializes in grating ware.
This is an excellent product that takes advantage of the characteristics of Iwami ware, which is hard and durable because it is fired at a high temperature of 1,300°C. The table has a silicon bottom to stabilize it.
The silicon bottom provides stability and prevents damage to the table.
